SCAPED

YOUR WORLD. YOUR ADVENTURE.

An old-school style MMORPG played on a map of the real world. Walk up to the trees, water and rock on your own street to train, fight what roams your neighbourhood, and chase drops most players never see.

how it works

The map is where you already are

SCAPED reads the real world around you and turns it into a place to train. No arenas, no lobbies — a walk to the shop is a skilling trip.

Step outside

Real trees become trees you can chop, real water becomes fishing spots, real rock becomes a mine. Markets appear where markets are.

Train anything

Eighteen skills, each to 99, each with its own unlocks and a skillcape at the end. Your step count trains Agility on its own.

Fight what's out there

Chickens on a quiet street, a lich on a bad one. Bosses sit far out and carry proof that you beat them.

Keep what you find

Seven rarity tiers, chase weapons with their own special attacks, and pets at roughly one in two thousand actions.

skills

Eighteen skills, all the way to 99

Seven of them have a full gear line — hatchets, rods, pickaxes, boots, swords, bows and staves — and every one has a skillcape waiting at the top.

bosses

Six that almost never show up

They spawn far from where you stand, hit for more than most players have hitpoints, and each drops one thing nothing else in the game does.

special attacks

Three weapons that break the rules

Every melee weapon can spend the special bar. These three bring their own special instead — one for each combat style.

Sundering maul

Shattering blow — One colossal swing — three times the damage, but only one chance to land it.

Nightfall bow

Nightfall volley — Looses two arrows at once, hitting harder the further away the target is.

Riftwarden staff

Rift arc — The bolt arcs from your target into everything within twenty metres.

pets

One pet per skill, and good luck

A roll on every action, at roughly one in two thousand for a skill you are actually training. You keep every pet you find, but only one walks with you — and only that one's blessing applies.

together

Nobody walks it alone

SCAPED generates the world from real coordinates, not from your session. The same street gives everyone the same trees, the same rocks and the same creatures — so a walk with a friend is the same walk.

See who is out there

Other adventurers appear on your map drawn with the gear they are actually wearing and the combat level they have actually earned. Their spot is blurred by up to about 50 m, and only if they choose to be visible at all.

Friends by name

Add anyone by their adventurer name, see who is online, and compare every one of their skill levels against yours.

The GLOBAL feed

Every 99, every rare drop and every pet rolls past as it happens, from players everywhere. There is no free-form chat, so there is nothing to moderate.

Your call, always

Stay hidden and nobody sees you. Report or block anyone from their player menu, which also removes the friendship both ways.

Look up from your screen

SCAPED is played outdoors, so your safety comes first. Watch for traffic and people, never play while driving or cycling, and don't go onto private property, into water or anywhere unsafe to reach something in the game. A tree in SCAPED is not permission to go and stand there. Nothing in the game is worth risking your safety for. The full safety rules are in the Terms.

questions

Before you start

Is SCAPED really free?

Yes. No ads, no in-app purchases, no subscriptions. Every item is earned in-game.

Do I have to walk to play?

Walking is how you reach trees, water, rock and markets, and your steps train Agility. You can fight and train from one spot too, but the game is built for getting outside.

Does it track me in the background?

No. SCAPED asks for precise location only while the app is open, and never asks for background location. Nearby players see you at a spot blurred by up to about 50 m, and only if you switch that on.

What does it do with Apple Health?

With your permission it reads your step count to award Agility XP. It never writes anything to Health.

Can I play on Android?

Not yet. SCAPED is on iPhone first.

How do I delete my account?

In the game: Backpack › Account settings › Delete account and all data. It removes your account, your save and your GLOBAL level-ups permanently. You can also email anthonyvvza@gmail.com.
